Rick Genuario
Principal and President of GCC responsible for managing construction and production, customer service, corporate accounting and finance, and quality control. Rick holds a B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Virginia, 1977. Prior to working for the Genuario Companies he was a finance analyst for Hughes Aircraft of Los Angeles, California, 1977 – 1979. Rick currently serves on the Board of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and has held various leadership positions including President of the Fairfax Chapter of NVBIA, and President and Chairman of the Mount Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as the West Potomac High School Boosters Chairman and past President and current board member of the Fort Hunt Sportsmen’s Association.  He has been involved with New Hope Housing as a board member and is currently a committee member of  Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services; and served for ten years as the Mt. Vernon District’s appointee to the Fairfax County’s Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board.  Rick is an active member of Mt. Vernon Country Club having served on the board and as Vice President.

Louis V. Genuario, Jr.
Principal and President of Genuario Properties and Wakefield Homes responsible for business development, and managing  land acquisition, capital funding, investor relations, marketing, contract administration, and office & financial management. Louis holds B.S. Business Administration: Finance; and Management, from Virginia Tech, 1980.  Prior to joining the Genuario Companies in 1984, Louis worked for Bechtel Civil and Minerals, Inc. of San Francisco, California, as a construction field engineer and contract manager.

Louis has served in many leadership positions in the home building industry, his community’s athletic association, and advisory boards for Virginia Tech.  For the Home Builders of Virginia (HBAV), Louis is currently Virginia’s State representative for the National Association of Home Builders, and has served as HBAV’s President (2013-2014), Executive Officer & Treasurer  (2011-2013), and Regional VP 205 & 2006, 2009 & 2010).  For the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, Louis is a Life Director who served as President in 2013, Executive Officer  & Treasurer 2000-2002, Alexandria Chapter President (1998 & 1999), and various committee chairmanships. He also sits on the Board for the Custom Builders USA-NV..

In addition to the Building Industry, Louis served on the Fort Hunt Youth Athletic Association Board from 1995-2005, and coached his two sons in Baseball and Basketball, 1994-2006.  He also sits on Virginia Tech’s Real Estate Program Advisory Board, and the Civil Engineering Department’s Land Development and Design Initiative program’s board, 2006 to present.

Danny Normyle
Construction General Manager for Wakefield Homes and Genuario Construction with over 27 years of experience in the Construction Industry focusing mainly on high end residential home construction. Began working for The Genuario Companies as a carpenter in 1987 thru 1989. Project Manager for the CraftMark Group, a regional builder, who built high end homes 1989-2005. He returned in 2005 as the Construction General Manager for The Genuario Companies, who is responsible for all field related issues from pre-construction planning and engineering through the permit process, completion of the project which also includes all customer related issues. BA, Virginia Tech 1984. Community Service: Past 3 term President Stratford Recreation Association. Active in the Local Community, Youth Athletic Association and Church Virginia Foster Family of the Year 2010.

Lindsay Gainer
Contracts Manager for Wakefield Homes and Genuario Construction Company responsible for assisting clients throughout the duration of their project, including initial conceptual ideas, contract administration, product selection, estimating, changes and overall project administration.  Lindsay has a B.S. from the University of South Carolina and has been with the Genuario Companies since 2004.

Steve Blanchard
Controller of The Genuario Companies since 2009. Steve is responsible for all accounting from accounts payable to financial reporting.  He is a graduate of Virginia Tech (1986) with a B.S. in Accounting.  Steve has 28 years of experience working in the building industry that includes working for national builders as well as local builders.

William (Billy) Anderson
Project Engineer & Estimator. Billy graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and started working for the Genuario Companies. As a Project Support Engineer and Estimator, he is responsible for a wide range of project management and project development tasks, including: estimates, architectural drawings, field and office project coordination, subcontracts, prospective project due diligence and more. While working full time, he is pursuing a Master’s degree from NC State in Structural Engineering and Mechanics.
